Sometimes I sing to my kids. About whatever they are doing to whatever tune happens to be on my mind at the time. For instance this morning: "Mommy can I paint the rest of this picture?" Then I sing and clap to the tune "If you're happy and you know it"-- "You can paint your pretty picture if you want. You can paint your pretty picture if you want. If you can find your painting stuff, you can paint it if you must, you can paint your pretty picture if you want!"
Yes, I'm strange. But they love it!

I love that song.
Tom does that, too, except he doesn't sing to any one tune. Whatever song he's thinking at the moment turns into the strangest songs.
