Olivia's first Halloween was much like all of her first holidays will be... uneventful. I spent most of my day baking and trying to make these really cute scarecrow cookies I found online for my visiting teaching and a couple of neighbors. I have sugar cookies coming out of my ears now and told BJ he needs to take them to work. We dressed Livi up for the day in an orange and white striped onesie with a ghost on the front, jeans and a cute little head band with orange curly ribbon on it. When we started taking our treats around we dressed her up as a daisy (Thanks, Amy for the cute stuff. I'll be sending it all back in my next box.). We did finally meet our upstairs neighbors and we visited for about an hour or more last night. They are just our age and have a 2 year old little girl named Megan. It's so good to have some good neighbors! Anyway, you will see our adorable daisy and ghost girl to the right over there... I hope your Halloweens' were terrific!

Gee, can you tell we love our baby? She is so cute all of the time! She babbles like she really wants me to understand what she is saying. About a month ago, I was folding some laundry in the front room and she pulled herself up to the coffee table, shook out a wash cloth and started rubbing the table. She looked up at me for my approval and was so proud of herself when I clapped my hands and smiled.

Joining the ranks
Okay, okay. I decided that it was high time we joined the blog mania that seems to be taking over the world. I decided it's a really great way to keep a journal of everything that's going on, plus, everyone's always telling me how much they miss us and our little Livi, so I'm gonna make it easier for everyone to see what's up... although phone calls, visits, email, and snail mail will always be appreciated. Right now we are happy in our new home and it is slowly coming together. I love the new city we live in and I love my family. It's great to be together and to have BJ working in our back yard, so he keeps an eye on us and drops in for lunch. Sorry if that was a super duper cheesy thing to say, but, it's cliche' for a reason.
